This sucks. First we find out someone stole D's bank card. They charged up nearly $200 on Nov 29th. Visa Fraud tells him they supposedly put a block on his card so it can't be used anymore (which I'm starting to wonder if that's possible, since the bank issued a visa-debit card directly). But after waiting for one more charge to clear so that I can start disputing them all, I hear today that the people used the card again yesterday!! And spent nearly another $200! How the hell does a Visa/Debit card work when there's no money in the account? (We only had just under $2 when they stole it). I have never been able to get that to work before.. This is stupid. I know we'll get the money back, but this still sucks.
