Since Merrilee was asking about it.. As I mentioned, last week I snail mailed a letter to 4 of my dad's siblings. These would be the siblings that have pretty much ignored me, talked smack about me, and so on. The letter was addressed "Dear Family", and it was my chance to get out what I've been feeling since I've left my dad's house. Since no one seems to care about my side of the story, much less confront me on whatever it is my dad said I did to them (mostly considering the journal), I wanted to finally confront it myself. I also sent to each of them a copy of my dad's last e-mail to me. And for those I had e-mail addresses for, I also sent them a word document in which I compiled every single e-mail I had saved from my dad since we left his house. I figured why stop with the last e-mail? Why not go all out and send them everything? LOL I'm not going to sit around anymore like a defenesless "whatever", you know? They're going to hear what I think about all of this, whether they like it or not. I've only gotten one response- from a cousin who went off about "The Lord", and how she loves me and wishes me the best, but that she doesn't want to know about anything that happened. All I can say is I'm guessing I won't hear much more than that. I'll be ignored like usual. But at least the ball is in their court now. They can all pretty much bite me.
