There are days when I just cannot stand cats.

My stupid lame-ass cat (Magick) saw another cat outside on the patio, and decided to pee on the damn carpet. Instead of pouring water on the urine, and then soaking it up with something, David just sprayed it with a spot remover (I dunno.. maybe he attempted to soak up the pee- I was too pissed off to stick around). Next morning, it smelled hideous (as cat piss tends to smell). So I wet the carpet down, tried to soak up any excess urine with the water, and later I sprinkled some baking soda on it to absorb some of the odor. Well, it still smells like a freakin' cat box in here.

Any ideas on how to kill the odor? Natural or otherwise.. good sprays out on the market? Is there anything I'd have here at home I could use? If I could, I'd pour bleach all over the place. Cats are often more hassle than they're worth. >:(
