We're supposed to have a "White Christmas" this year. In fact, I woke up this morning to discover snow out front, on some of the cars and a little bit on the grass (none in my patio, though). It's kind of neat! I do vaguely remember several years ago.. I think it was in '95, when my sister and I were living with my grandfather. There was a bit of snow on the ground when we woke up. For Los Angeles, that's pretty rare. But we were near the mountains, at a higher elevation than the rest of the city.. it was just really cool.

Yesterday I finished a birthday gift for one of D's sisters. Her birthday is a few days after Christmas. She always gets us the neatest birthday gifts, so it's not always easy trying to figure out what she might like. I decided on some nice balloon wine glasses, which I etched flowers on (with a glass etching kit). Then to top it off, I put on some really cool wine glass charms. I think she'll like them.

My FIL's bear is maybe 85% done. I'm hoping against all hope that I can get both kids to nap at the same time today, so I can do at least half of what's left. The rest I'll get tonight. I really don't want to be up all night getting it done. I'm gonna have a hard enough time sleeping, what with the excitement (SP?) upon me. I don't know how I'm going to get through today. LOL Besides.. I need my sleep for the next couple of days.. going to the in-law's tomorrow, then we're going to see Return of the King on Friday. Woo Hoo! :) Aragorn, here I come! (drool!!)

I hope all of you have a wonderful, safe, happy holiday! And if you celebrate something else (or maybe nothing at all), the same applies.
