David's company is just too much. David gave his notice, and later that night his supervisor called him here at home to talk to him about it (he couldn't be bothered to do it during work hours). He tried to assure David that he wasn't being phased out, and that he would try to match the $$ that the new company had offered. Next day, David waited to hear back from his supervisor, before returning an acceptance to the new place. After hearing nothing all day, David called and asked- the supervisor acted like they never had the conversation, and just played dumb. Nice. And they expect David to take it easy the rest of the week, by not answering calls or doing anything. They even wanted him to ship back his cell phone and computer yesterday! Ok, so he's just supposed to sit at a desk and stare at the ceiling for 3 days?? Needless to say, David's not sending anything til Friday. He's now officially being paid to play games on his computer and e-mail his wife. LOL
