Stuff going on..

We gave 30-day notice to vacate our apartment. Whether we move to MI or not (we should know by tomorrow afternoon after D's interview), we're definately getting out of this place. It's been nice, but we've outgrown this place.

My adorable nephew turns 6 tomorrow. I'm asking myself how the hell it's possible! I miss that little man. I cried last time I was on the phone with him because I hate being so far away from him. He's the sweetest little kid ever (aside from my own.. and of course all of your adorable rugrats. heh heh). I bought him some Hot Wheels and a Transformer. LOL

David's work changed insurance companies July 1st. He went from having $300/mo taken out of his paycheck, to an even more horrific $400. Can you believe that shit? $400/m0 ($200 a paycheck!) to cover myself and the kids. So we ditched that today after I got approved for a policy with Blue Shield/Anthem, for me and the kiddos. That's extra money in our pockets for a change!


Oh. Something interesting.. my sister's boyfriend (fiance) has quite the unique job. He's one of those people who goes in after someone has died, and "cleans up" after them. You've heard about people in LA getting hit by commuter trains? Public busses? Yeah.. he has the task of hosing everything down and disinfecting (with 100% peroxide). One of the "perks" of his job is that he can sometimes bring home some of the personal effects. He recently went into the home of an FBI agent who killed himself. My (soon-to-be) BIL brought home the couches, which would have otherwise been dumped because of spattered blood. Yum. Doesn't that seem kind of ookie?
