I think because our DSL wasn't supposed to be turned on til tomorrow, that means we'll have to rely on the shittiest internet connection til then. I swear, it's slower than dial-up. It literally takes minutes to download a page. GRRRRR.

So, I had some birthday money left, and decided to join BMG.. today I got the following cds in the mail:

Norah Jones - Come Away With me
Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane
John Mayer - Any Given Thursday
Shania Twain - The Woman in Me (something my roommate played endlessly in college. I actually want the latest cd)
Foreigner - Complete Greatest Hits (always wanted a cd w/all their "love" hits on it)
Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow

I'm really not a fan of most of the current music, but every now and then someone has a hit that I like. That explains Maroon 5 and John Mayer. Oh. My SIL goes to just about all of the Brian Vander Ark (Verve Pipe) shows in northern OH and souther MI- she gave me one of his (autographed) cds, and it's really not bad at all. Now ask me who Saliva is and what they sing, and I have no damn clue. I hate to think what music my kids will be listening to. Better be something of my liking, dammit! LOL :)
