Blizzard Warning in Effect for Northeast

We already have about 3" on the ground from Thursday morning, and we're supposed to get another 4-8" today. I always wondered what exactly a blizzard was. I pictured it to be tons of wind, tons of snow, and just total chaos. Maybe not? Well, maybe not the chaos.

We were talking about traveling up to the in-law's today, to give David's dad his birthday gift. But then found out the snow was supposed to hit the fan. LOL Maybe next weekend? I just hope the power doesn't go out again. It happened Christmas day (when we had another huge storm), and then the Monday after. Oh, and we've had a leaking pipe in our basement since then. I'm not happy they still haven't been out to fix it. WTF?!
