Lauren and I will also be leaving in the afternoon, headed to Calfornia for some (I hope) R&R. At this point I just care about getting there and back in one piece. Lauren too, of course.
In the meantime, Lauren has a black eye from smacking her face into the staircase railing. Matthew sprayed bleach cleaner in his eyes yesterday, Matthew is climbing over ALL gates now (including the one at the top of the basement stairs),... and just a bunch of other stuff that a mom of 2 kiddos has to deal with. Speaking of Matthew, he's currently climbing onto David's desk to get some DVDs off the top shelf. (Yes David, no worries.. our son has now been hobbled) LMAO!
Last night, David brought home a "1001 chocolate chip cake" (MMMM), a sweet card, and a nice toy I can't wait to play with- Sport flash player. 256MB (8 hrs of music/160 songs). It's a pulse rate monitor, stop watch, calorie counter. It has an FM tuner, with 20 station presets, and you can also record off the radio! It comes with jukebox software, so of course I can download songs off my computer. (And all songs recorded off the radio are stored in mp3 format). This thing rocks! It comes with an arm band so I can hold it there while excercising.
