Our house hunt is going well.. the agent we're working with introduced us to the guy who runs the "The Home Buyers Scouting Report". Wow. This is like the best place to look online for a house! It's a password-protected site that gives available listings that match your search criteria from all area real estate companies. You can find out right away whether or not it's still an active listing, you can save it to a "notebook" and make notes on it (which your agent can view)- even cooler, it updates you immediately if someone has bought the house, if the price has changed, etc. It also emails you daily with new listings that match your criteria. It's been awesome. David and I went with the agent to look at 4 houses on Saturday, and she's picking up the kids and I tomorrow, to go see 3 others. (We also drove around a bit on Sunday looking at various houses- seeing the surrounding neighborhoods, to decide if some of these houses on our list were worth checking out further).

The biggest thing that sucks- that we have yet to find a house with everything we both want. A few have come damn close, but either one of us has found something not up to par. 2 huge things- square footage and a fenced in back yard. OMG it's crazy how many yards here have no fence!! Sorry, but I need something to keep my 2 little monkeys caged up. LOL In any case, I've found myself stressing over this, probably more than I should be. It's not like we have to find something tomorrow (although in the next couple weeks would be nice, just to give notice on this crap hole).

Are any of you familiar with the term "Game Widow"? LOL I think I've found myself in that category. I ran across this site last night, with various stories (some pissed off wives, and some guys equally pissed off about their partners making such a big deal about nothing). Oh.. this one kills me. A Former Video Game Widow's Tips to get Your Man Away from the Monitor and into Bed. LOL! I dunno if these tips are likely to work, but I definately got a kick out of it.

My sister and the baby are doing well. Although I'm a tad miffed at the kind of OB care she got up to his delivery. I can't even remember how many times my sister told me that her due date had been changed.. and just before she told me the doctor planned to induce, she had mentioned his belief that the baby wasn't growing normally. In fact, he estimated that the baby was maybe 3-4 weeks behind where he should be- so basically, he was small for his age. Perhaps figuring that the baby would profit from early delivery (I believe my sister was supposed to have been 38 weeks or so when she went in), it was decided to induce labor. This is what kills me. AFTER the baby is born, they determine the baby to actually be 3-4 weeks younger than they thought it was!! OMG. This just kills me! And her doctor is supposedly the chief of staff at that hospital. I'm wondering why someone else in my family got stuck with a moron for a doctor.

Speaking of which, my grandma was released from the hospital I believe it was a day after she went in. They were going to transfer her to a different hospital for more tests, but they had no beds there. So they released her.. only for her to have another "episode" that morning. She stayed with one of my aunts for the rest of the week, and I think had a dr's appointment yesterday. I'm curious to find out if anyone has a clue what happened to her.

Is it so hard to find a medical professional who knows his ass from a hole in the ground?!
