Oh my god I am SOOOOO tired. We closed on the house today.. but it was not without its drama. We got a phone call just before 10:30 (closing was supposed to be at 11am) saying that there was a pest inspection that was supposed to be done, in order for the VA loan to be approved. This had been mentioned before, maybe about 2 weeks ago. However, it was never actually scheduled. So while David's parents watched the kiddos, David and I went to the title company's office, and signed I don't know how many papers. Holy goodness! Meeting the sellers was an interesting experience (they seem to be nice people). During the closing, the report from the inspection came back- the house is termite free! (Well, more or less). After that was done and we got the keys, we drove back to get the kids and the in-laws, for a trek over to the new place.

Doesn't seem like a long day, but I woke up at 5 this morning (4 am yesterday, no thanks to David!). I am fucking exhausted. I must say, though. We have keys to a new house, but yet we still have a few nights left in this dinky place. With boxes and mayhem closing in on us.. it will definately be nice to move in. Then I can start feeling like a home owner. It's just wierd typing that.. wierd just thinking it.

Man.. did any of that even make sense?!
