Pics of the first real snow fall this year... the kids having fun.
So.. we have survived Matthew's second class at the local YMCA. It's what the Ohio Help Me Grow program calls a "Community Support Site" deal. We take Matthew in for some (what I call) "developmental therapy", 3 times a month. This last Wednesday was his second class. He's in for one-on-one "play time" I guess you could say, with a therapist. She has been working with him the last couple weeks on his attention span, taking turns, and keeping focused. As for his speech, she hasn't really attempted much with that yet, but he is saying a lot more on his own. And he's finally saying Mommy! Actually, he's probably saying 20+ words now. I should write down a list, because it could even be 30+ at this point. I just need help dealing with his major tantrums.. I am totally losing it with him. And to make matters worse, Lauren is losing it with him, too. I'm sure mostly because that's how she sees her parents interacting with him when he acts out. So what can I expect, really.
Christmas shopping is just about done. I have David totally finished, and I believe Lauren as well. I have only bought 2 gifts for Matthew, but David claims he was going to take care of that this year. I do have a few stocking stuffers for everybody, but not enough to fill them properly. I have been scoring some super awesome deals on the shopping boards, and OMG.. it's been nuts trying to control myself. LOL! My Christmas cards are nearly all sent. Just a few here and there, but I have been trying to get a hold of a few friends to make sure they're still living the same place as last year.. and not a peep from any of them. Sigh..
Ok.. the kids are a bit too quiet. Gotta run.
