FOXNews.com - London-to-D.C. Flight Diverted to Boston After Passenger Disturbance.

This is just friggin' insane to me. About as insane as the fact the UK actually lowered their alert level by one, because they figured an attack wasn't immediately immanent. There is no way this lady should have been able to get on a plane with matches, a screwdriver, vaseline.. Conflicting reports are that the disturbance was related to her being claustrophobic. Perhaps a ruse? Thank God the plane actually made it to the US safely (how long does a flight take to and from the UK?). If this chick had some ill intent, maybe she chickened out, or was detected early enough to be stopped til they could land.

I also heard that today would have been the start of the terrorist attacks on planes from the UK. (Dry runs were to have happened this past weekend) Lovely.

*The head of TSA is saying that these reports are wrong and that she had none of these items (including Al Qaeda notes in 2 diff languages).. but instead was really just claustrophobic. However, isn't it curious that they have every person's suitcases laying out on the tarmac, with bomb-sniffing dogs checking them out. I guess better safe than sorry? Or somebody is just trying to keep the public from freaking out?

*Well, somebody on a different news channel said this lady was in her 60's, and had some kind of panic attack, and got into it with some passengers and flight attendants. They claim she did have some papers with Arabic text on them, but not certain it had anything to do with Al Qaeda.

Makes you wonder who the hell does the reporting, and where they get their info.
