I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack! (That was for Alan)


This morning Lauren "accidentally" locked Matthew in her bedroom. She came downstairs crying hysterically because he was locked in there. The people who lived here before had two of the bedroom doors fitted with doorknobs really meant for an exterior door- a keyed entry. Only thing is there is no key- our house key doesn't work, that's for damn sure. And I could not explain to Matthew (for the life of me) to turn the little "button" on the doorknob to unlock it. So there's Lauren in the living room sobbing, Matthew is knocking on the door screaming. I'm desperate to figure out how to get the thing unlocked (the door frame was in the way, as well). It was a nightmare. Somehow I managed to get a piece of cardboard to work it open. Matthew was never so happy to see me in his whole 3 years of life. LOL Poor kid. I immediately took that doorknob off, and we'll be replacing it this evening.
