So the results are in... I tested positive for Lyme. I've already been on antibiotics for a month now- Sylvia, you'd probably shit yourself if I told you how much I'm taking. LOL But today the results of my tests (from the IGeneX lab in Palo Alto, CA) were given to me. And amazingly, the Dr. thinks it's most likely a recent infection- how recent, I have no idea. He did say that it might not explain all of my health issues, but I do feel it explains some... not to mention I basically got confirmation that my Neuro's office has no freakin' idea what the hell to do with me, so gave me some bogus diagnosis to (IMO) satisfy the insurance co. I asked the Lyme Dr if he bought the dx of "Polymyalgia Rheumatica", and he said that my "sed rate" was too low for something like that. He also told me that all the thyroid tests he did came back normal, so it makes me more curious to know what the heck is going on with the 3 nodules.. sigh.
