Borrowing this from an interesting blog I just found. "Motherwise Cracks".
1. What were you doing ten years ago?
Ten years ago.. the fall of 1997. I was in my second year at HSU. Actually, 10 yrs ago Sept 3rd, David moved to California. Oct 16th of that year, he proposed.
2. What were you doing one year ago?
Hmm. One year ago, I had learned that Matthew had Autism. He was barely starting out in his new preschool, and I was reading books about not only Autism, but Sensory Integration Dysfunction as well. I think life around here was somewhat tense and confusing, as we weren't really sure what to do, what would happen, etc. At the same time, I was seeing a Neurologist, and trying to figure out why my health was declining.
3. What are five snacks you enjoy?
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate.
(Ok, I also enjoy mixed nuts, chips and dip, dry cereal, and cookies).
4. What are five songs you know the lyrics to?
A. Candy, by Wil Smith. "Excuse me, miss. Can we chat for a second? I'd ask how you doin' but you fine, I reckon. Wait. Do you have a man? Cuz I ain't into home wreckin'. No, I ain't cruel. Just checkin."
B. Pour Some Sugar On Me, by Def Leppard. "Love is like a bomb, baby, c'mon get it on. Livin' like a lover with a radar phone. Lookin' like a tramp, like a video vamp, demolition woman can I be your man?"
C. Heart to Heart, by Kenny Loggins. "You ain't crazy. I ain't gone lie anymore. What you're feeling, there's a reason for. I wanna do right. Oh, I gotta do right. Do I love you? Oh you know I've tried. But what you're after, you can't find in my eyes."
D. Diary, by Bread. "I found her diary underneath the tree, and started reading about me. The words she'd written took me by surprise. You'd never read them in her eyes. They said that she had found the love she'd waited for. Wouldn't you know it. She wouldn't show it."
E. Oh, Sherry!, by Steve Perry. "You should've been gone, knowing how I made you feel. And I should've been gone. After all your words were steel. Oh, I must have been a dreamer. And I must have been someone else. And we should have been over by now."
5. Five Things You Would Do If You Were A Millionaire
A. Seriously upgrade my house and yard. (or just buy a better house!)
B. Pay off all my debts, and David's. And cut up all his credit cards LOL!
C. Make sure my children are all set for college.
D. Build the animal shelter I've always wanted to run.
E. Make sure my grandma never wants for anything, for the rest of her life (no matter how short or how long that may be).
6. Five Bad Habits
I swear, bite my cuticles, sniffle a lot AND rub my nose (allergies, dammit!), freak out when David's driving. That's all I'm admitting to!
7. Five Things You Like To Do
Read, listen to music, dance, sit outside on a nice windy day, cuddle
8. Five Things You Would Never Wear
Pants so low that a thong would stick out (and no, I don't wear thongs).
Thigh-high boots (they would look ridiculous on me).
A bikini (not in public, anyway. I'm much too modest and self-conscious of my body).
Aviator sunglasses (sorry, but I think they look stupid).
Red lipstick (not a huge fan of bright red lips. And it's a bad color for me).
9. Five Favorite Toys
computer, digital camera, photo printer, mp3 player, and something else I'll leave to the imagination.
10. Five Things You Hate To Do
rake leaves, spend money, get up in the morning, make phone calls, discipline my kids
