I haven't felt much like blogging lately. Partly because these meds I'm on are making me feel sick- dizzy, nauseous, etc. (I'm vomiting almost on cue, every weekend). Sitting here looking at the screen isn't fun. I have to time my life around medication these days (mostly in case I get sick), and it really is making me nuts.
Anybody else hate watching the news these days? If it's not politics 24-7, it's people taunting tigers, men throwing kids off bridges, Britney and her multiple personalities.. I like to keep in touch with what's going on in the world, but I'd like to see something pleasant for a change. Here's a touching story:
Boy, 11, resuscitates dad, runs for help
"AN 11-year-old gave his injured father CPR then ran 3km barefoot in the dark to get help after their car rolled.
Lachlan "Lochie" Nally, 11, and his father Matthew, 36, of Koolunga, were in a crash on the Red Hill to Koolunga Rd in South Australia just after 12am today.
Mr Nally was critically injured.
Lochie suffered minor injuries, including seat belt burns to his neck, two lumps on his head and a graze to his lower back but ran 3km without shoes to the Koolunga Hotel to get help."
Humans doing something nice, for a change.
