Did I mention that Kiddo Girl lost her first tooth? It was a week ago, and I thought that sucker would never come out!! I ended up yanking it, after you could basically grab at it from the bottom. (Both teeth on the bottom - in front - were/are loose). The other tooth is nearly ready to come out, as well. And it's cute.. you can see the new teeth coming in. One has broken though the surface, and the other is just beneath.

The tooth fairy came, and gave her a dollar. See.. somebody claims he heard KG mention that a friend in her class got a dollar. That night, she put this little box on her dresser- not under her pillow, because she was concerned it might fall out in the middle of the night, and scare the tooth fairy. It also might wake her up, causing the tooth fairy to fly away and not leave any money. So the box sat on the dresser, with the lid off. KG said that the tooth fairy would put the money in, and then put the lid back on. The next morning, she was all ecstatic about a whole dollar! She claims she thought she'd only get a dime. I told her maybe the tooth fairy got carried away because it was her first tooth, and next time she'd probably get a dime. (Or quarter.. we'll see)

It was exciting when it happened.. it was just after the kids went to bed. She went to go show daddy the new gap in her teeth, and I went to show her brother the actual tooth. OMG he was SO confused. He had the funniest look on his face! I was explaining how when he's a really big boy, his baby teeth will fall out and he can get big grown-up teeth. I had him look in KG's mouth to see the new tooth coming in. Once he got over the initial shock and confusion, he was super excited. LOL
