Short update. Waiting for the in-laws to arrive. I feel so badly for Kiddo Girl, though. She was supposed to have a birthday party today.. well, still is.. but we thought most of the family would be here, and it turns out only D's parents will be showing up. Whatever.. I mean, she's *only* 6. But still. She was really looking forward to having her family over to celebrate. She also wanted her friends from next door to come over tomorrow, but they have plans (which they can't help, but you know- I made sure KG went to their co-birthday party just before Christmas).

Well, it all went well. She was very excited- apart from two very adorable shorts/shirt outfits, she received a Hannah Montana Surf Shack set (sent down from D's sisters), and then we gave her a Hannah Montana singing doll. (Earlier we took her to Friends 2 B Made, and she picked out "Pinky Pizzazz". Just the doll & outfit, not the drum set. LOL).

Monday, she gets to take cookies with her to school, so she can celebrate with her friends. I hope that will be fun for her. :)
