After bills this month (car payment, insurance, the electric bill, etc..) we have just about nada in the bank until I get paid ($1.80, to be exact). Then D gets a call from the Visa Fraud people today. Guess what? Apparently D left his new visa debit card (to our joint checking account) somewhere, and someone found it. They took it Christmas shopping at the 99 cent store (among other places), where they spent hundreds of dollars.. Drove all over southern CA, while they were at it. Oh joy. Yeah, so we're seriously in the hole until I get paid, and until the bank replaces our money (and clears us of overdraft fees). LOL
