I'm roasting a turkey right now. A nice big 21.1 pounder. LOL

Vons (Safeway) had them cheap, so we grabbed a 12 lb turkey for $5. Then we went grocery shopping at Ralphs (Krogers) on Friday, and one came free with our purchase- they picked out the gigantic one. We'd already put the smaller one in the freezer, and since there was no room at all for the other, it's been in our fridge, thawing. I had to make it!! We're going to be turkey'd out by the weekend. We're going to one aunt's house on Thanksgiving, then another aunt's house on Friday. Then since we always do our own dinner at home, that will be another bunch of bird. I think the one I'm making now will be tonight's dinner, and the weekend's. I'll just save the pies and other goodies for later.

Kinda wish Lauren could experience the joy of turkey, but I guess she'll get plenty thru nursing. I wonder if the triptophan (sp?) affects breast milk? LOL Hey, wouldn't that be nice?? Here, Lauren! Take a nice nap!! :) (She will get mashed potatoes, and green beans. MMM)
