I just got a (belated) birthday card in the mail, from my mom & step-dad (actually, my mom only signed their names.. my step-dad wrote the note). Guess when my birthday is? AUGUST!!!!!!!!!! Um, freakin' idiots. I don't get it. This is part of what the note said:

"We actually did remember you during your birthday- we just accidently left yours and everyone else's at home!"

Ok.. last time I saw them was Easter, just before Lauren's birthday. So maybe they got my birthday confused with hers? Um.. first off, the note on the card has a date on it that I assume is what they think was whoever's birthday (except for that the year is 2004)- it's neither mine nor Lauren's. Secondly, the card was definately meant for me and not Lauren, because the outside is very "adult". Thirdly, whether my mom celebrates birthdays or not, don't you think she'd remember when the hell she gave birth to her kids? My birthday is only a month before my sister's (and I'm pretty sure they remember that date). Fourth, they remembered my birthday 8 months ago, but accidentally left the card at home? (I never saw them that month) So it took them 8 months to mail it? (They mailed it yesterday. Post dated 5-7. And they live right by the post office- literally)

I really truly dont' get it.
