You know what's really frustrating? Today we went to T@rget to buy basically all the rest of the stuff we need for the baby- (carseat for Lauren), wipes, diapers (most importantly for Lauren, who was all out), meds, etc.. pretty much everything on my list but a nursing bra. While we were there, we also got some lamps for both bedrooms and the living room, because it would be nice to have some light for a change. We had about $250 of stuff we needed in that cart. I wrote the check, and they refused it! This is the second time at that damn same damn store that we've left an entire cart-load of stuff just sitting at a register. The first time was because Huntington refused to release our Traveler's Checks as "available" funds. And this time, we have to call some stupid number that the store printed out for us.. the only reason they wouldn't take it is because it's the first time we've written a check there, and we can only write it up to a certain amount (not that they tell you what that is). GRRRRRR.

Not only is that shit humiliating, but it's pissing me off that we had 99.9% of everything we needed to prepare for this new baby, and then basically we're back to square zero. (David's so pissed he doesn't want to go back there ever again). So then we went across the street to Meijer- this time we only bought diapers and wipes for Lauren (they'll take a check for that little- go figure!), since she was out and we were desperate. But who wants to wander around in a new store for another freakin' hour, finding every little damn thing we so happily found before and left sitting in a cart?

I just feel sick..
