Anybody else watch ER last night? I've sort of been an on and off again "fan" of the show, and have been trying to keep up this season (mostly cuz I always watch The Apprentice, which is on right before it). Damn. I was bawling my eyes out last night. Not that I'm a huge fan of Ray Liota or anything, but he- his character - made me think of my dad. It just killed me when the nurse called his son and told him that his dad was dying. The two had been estranged, and the son totally blew him off over the speaker phone. That was hard. I mean, my dad and I made peace before he died (thank God) but still- it could have been like that where the two of us that stubborn.

To top off an already emotional hour, my head was killing me. I don't know if it's the heater or what, but I've been having these horrid sinus headaches and they're usually worst in the morning and evenings. I feel like someone has stabbed me right between the eyes and keeps twisting. No amount of medicine seems to help. Then enter the kids, who won't stay asleep at night. Lauren cries now whenver she wets her diaper at night. Guess I can understand that. I mean, who wants to sleep in their own piss? There needs to be a diaper on the market that has a hose connected to the front (or crotch), that leads to the toilet.. vacuuming up offensive waste material the second its released from the body. Yeah there's catheters & colostomy bags, but who wants to put those in every night?
