So, my Christmas crafting has begun!

I decided early on that this year I wanted to make a lot of my gifts- something that has been hard for me to do having 2 little ones, but this year I'm making sure it happens! Little gift baskets is what I've had in mind. Yesterday I took some of Lauren's play-doh and rolled out a bunch of colors, which I then cut out with Christmas cookie cutters. I baked them in the oven to speed up the drying process, and once fully hard, I'm going to have her paint them and then give out for Christmas.

While on my shopping board, I discovered some neat links that struck my fancy for inexpensive, yet homemade gifts! The first is a link to "Gifts in a Jar" recipes, and the second is for Survival Kits (omg- some of these are so cute- and they're all easy to make!). (Hmm.. how 'bout a no-sew fleece blanket?)
