My two artists. Lauren's painting in her highchair, and Matthew's at the dining room table, drawing. He's quite serious about it, too.. though he doesn't grip the pencil/crayon/pen correctly. It's so cute! He gets very upset when Lauren's coloring or whatever, and so I'm quick to let him join in the fun. Only problem is he sometimes likes to chomp down on the crayons. Bleck. I'm sure he'll be drawing like his daddy in no time. Perhaps Lauren will be quite the artist herself?
