Feeding tube removed from brain-damaged woman

This poor woman. This story makes me sick- her family and her husband basically fighting over her, basically fighting over whether she should live or die. This case has me somewhat torn, because from videos I've seen, I do happen to think she understands what's going on around her. At the same time, her doctors claims she is in a vegetative state, and people see what they want to see. If that's true, it seems cruel to keep her alive. She shouldn't have to suffer anymore. If that means removing her feeding tube, I think that's the best decision.
