Katrina Divides Rather Than Unifies U.S..

Really, that's no big surprise. We've got people out there (some are elected officials) claiming this is a race issue. That Bush/FEMA/the Louisianna govt. didn't care about saving these people because the majority of them were Black. Other are saying that nobody gave a shit because most of these people were poor. I suppose had this been an area of mansions, celebs, etc, more would have been done.. but I don't see what good talking like this does. EVERYBODY fucked up here. Bush, FEMA, Louisianna officials.. EVERYONE is to blame here. The pictures of school busses and trailors just sitting, waiting to be used.. it's more than disgusting (imagine how many more lives could have been saved??). It's really just sad. And I don't blame people for being angry. Not one bit.
