Another "snow" day for Matthew. (Which is ok, because he AND Lauren are both sick again. I feel myself coming down with something, too. I swear, every couple of weeks we all have some kind of "yuck". Quite seriously. Not cool!) Apparently somebody doesn't want him to have his picture taken. This is the second time that his class picture day has been postponed because of the snow.
According to a local TV news station:
"Forecasters called for 8 to 12 inches of snow Tuesday in areas north of Dayton and 6 to 10 inches in Columbus, which also could receive freezing rain and sleet before the storm ends Wednesday, said Steve Rhebenach, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington."
I think David's parents could get up to twice that, from that I read. Holy crap! (Of course this is NOTHING compared to what people in upstate NY are seeing. I just can't even imagine. I mean, you have to open a 2nd story window (assuming you have one) to get out of your house, so you can shovel snow off your ROOF. That's insane!!
I'm supposed to take Matthew to speech therapy today. But the thought of driving around in this weather freaks me out. I'm thinking of cancelling.. if there is ice on the ground, and low visibility anyway, I'd probably die of a heart attack trying to get us there in one piece.
