Yesterday was a crappy day, that's for sure! I shoveled the snow maybe 9:30, 10 am. Then we left about 11:30 for the ST appointment. By that point, there was already at least another inch of snow on the ground. The worst bit in terms of sliding around was just at the end of this street, where we turn at the light. I dunno who takes care of the road right there, but jeez!

So we made it safely.. It was leaving that sucked. While the kids waited in the warm car, I was standing in this lady's driveway (deep in snow, since neither she nor her husband cleared any), scraping ice off the windows. While we were inside her house, it had started coming down. It was nasty. Thank God we made it back ok!

I'm so excited. Matthew is starting to write letters! I'm giving his school the credit here, as I haven't worked with him all that much. So far, here's what he's shown me he can do: M, L, S, Z, N, and D. He's also drawing faces now. It's so cute! I'm trying to remember when Lauren started writing letters. He may be hitting this milestone about the same time she did, but I can't recall exactly. I'll have to see if I wrote it down on a calendar somewhere. (I save old calendars)

*Oh.. it's yet another "snow day" for Matthew. Sigh. LOL I'm missing a Hanen Workshop, though. :( At least I think I am. I know his school is closed, so I would have to assume all workshops and meetings there are cancelled as well.
