Goodbye, Topamax! It's been.. real. You dropped me down to around 110 lbs, which is too thin. (My size 4 pants were all baggy, my breasts are disappearing, and all I see and feel is bone). You seemed to like me when you were 25mg, but at 50mg, you became this nightmare- making me hurt, and sick. Our time together has come to an end, and I am off to (hopefully), brighter days.

Hello, Elavil. I don't know you. I hear you're an anti-depressant. You also plan on making me gain weight. Do I need to be worried? Your side-effects sounds pretty scary- difficulty in achieving orgasm? Oh sorry.. I suppose I should be more worried that I might kill myself while taking you. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket I know you can't make any promises, but if you could please help at least the majority of my pain issues? That'd be sweet.

So I had my latest visit with my Neuro's office. Apparently the Neuro has officially passed me off to the CNP in the office. Should I be offended? Why not let the CNP waste her time trying to diagnose me, right? My current diagnosis: Polymyalgia Rheumatica. Supposedly this is a rare condition, usually seen in adults over the age of 50- the average age of onset being 70 yrs old.
Now if this is right, and I have Lyme Disease as the root of my issues, it makes more sense (as it's commonly connected to Lyme). Otherwise, what the holy hell?! I'm only 32, gosh darnit!! >:( As a last ditch effort before passing me off to a Rheumatologist, they're going to send me to an allergist and see if my issues could be related to food I'm eating. We'll see.. Doubtful it accounts for everything, but we'll see. In the meantime, I've given blood for the first round of tests by my new "Lyme Literate" doctor in Pennsylvania. And on May 10th, I go give more. Sigh.

Oh, and did I mention how STUPID my regular doctor is? April 1st, I ate something which seemed to immediately cause my upper abdominal region to freak out. After a week of this BS, I called the office and explained my symptoms. They made it sound like they should get me in right away. This was on a Monday (the 9th), and the earliest appointment was the following Thursday. By the time they transfered me to the chick who schedules appointments, that time slot was filled. So I was given April 24th. Then yesterday, they call and tell me the dr won't be able to see me then- I have to wait til May 9th! WTF?! I suppose at least the dr prescribed me some medication (Prevacid) in the meantime, but sheez. What if I had a bleeding ulcer or something? Apparently it's just not that fucking urgent now? UGH!
