Yesterday morning, Matthew and I walked Lauren to school (as usual). I heard a kid say "Hi, Lauren", and I turned to see a little boy walking near us. She told me his name, and mentioned that he's in her class. Later in the afternoon, on our way home from seeing my Lyme dr, she informed us that she asked this same boy if he wanted to hold hands with her as they walked to class. Apparently he said yes. Sigh...
I suppose it could be worse. When I was in first grade, I played "doctor" many times. I even got busted at school, for letting a boy put a straw down my shorts.. so he could pull it out and pretend (ok, this is going to sound nuts) that it was our kid. I won't get into what else we did. Let's just say it was very naughty. What's worse is that the poor guy ended up being one of those computer nerds (and straight-A students) who probably never quite filled out his gym shorts.
