My aunt.. a truly wonderful person. She has her own music publishing business in Hollywood, is the co-founder of a non-profit organization (Special Needs Network), and she raises two kids (as a single mom). The youngest has Autism. It is because of my aunt that I was able to get help for my son so quickly. I knew the signs (even if I wanted to believe my son was just a slow-poke in his development), and she and my grandma pushed me to get to the bottom of it all. She's now starting her own blog "Autism- Day by Day", and I thought I would link to it because I know it will be something that other parents (of developmentally delayed children) would be able to relate to. She has a lot of knowledge in this area, so I'm sure her blog will be full of useful information for parents who might need some direction with therapy, funding, etc.
