Under "Gross Motor", his PT wrote: "He does have pronated feet with calcaneal valgum and midfoot eversion and may benefit from an orthoic/support."
What I got from a few Google searches was that he has flat feet, but that was about it. I asked about it at the IEP meeting, and was given a flyer for an "orthotic clinic" coming up at the school. We thought that was great, because frankly I never noticed any real physical problems with the little guy, aside from seeming more clumsy on his feet than his sister. However at the clinic, the gentleman pointed out BG's stance- getting on the ground to see his ankles from behind, they turn in- moreso the left side. (Picture something like this) His PT gave him inserts as a temporary support, but it seemed pretty obvious that wasn't going to cut it. So he was fitted for these supports:

So far, he seems to like them. He just got them Monday, so he's still breaking them in. But I think he likes the fact that they're just for him. They also have a cool dinosaur design that he picked out by himself.. and of course we pump up the fact that they're to help him walk/run/etc. better. He'll probably need them for a few years, so we'll see how he likes them long-term.
