Nothing like a little Fifth Disease to warm the holiday season. Apparently Kiddo Girl has it.. we haven't seen the dr., but it's pretty obvious that's what it is. Slapped cheeks look and all. This picture is of another child, but it's pretty much what KG looks like. She did recently have some cold symptoms, and her eye was bothering her. But her cheeks have been red for the last few days. Today the patches are actually raised. So perhaps we'll soon see the rest of her covered. Not sure if we wait to see if her brother comes down with it. At least she's no longer contageous- once the rash appears, she can't give it to anybody.

I had it when I was a kid, although I don't recall my face being red. It was mostly my arms and legs. I think I got it from my best friend at the time. Wasn't that sweet of her?
