It's "Mostly Sunny, 49F", outside. Aside from the cold wind, it's a beautiful day. We've been out for a walk (and the little guy for a bike ride). I've been pulling weeds from the garden. The dog has been running around like a maniac, attempting to chase squirrels, one of the cats, the mail carrier, and who knows what else. And the person I sometimes refer to as my better half, has been working from home (inserting a few breaks here and there for food and a quick game of Guitar Hero III).

Unfortunately, the sun is not necessarily my friend. As soon as it starts to warm up a bit.. or as soon as the sun starts "getting closer" to us (starting in Spring), it starts messing with my head. Literally. My eyes are sensitive to the bright light- it gives me migraines, and makes me feel extremely drowsy. I slept about 2 hours today (during the kids' nap time) and I still feel woozy. You ever wake up with your head pounding, first thing in the morning? Such is my life, for months on end. Ugh.

At least I've been feeling a little less sad about yet another friend's health problems. Although I also found out that my great aunt (who has already had one breast removed due to cancer), is in the hospital to have a biopsy on a lump found in the remaining breast. It's always something, right?
