Today, after Buddy Guy and I took Kiddo Girl to school, we drove to the grocery store to pick up some food. He picked out a stuffed animal that was on sale, got to help select special snacks, etc. We even stopped by Caribou Coffee for a treat (Green Tea/Mango chiller for me, and a Strawberry Banana smoothie for him). It was grand.. even had a tickle-fest while his big sister did her homework.

Oh, about 15 minutes ago, I went upstairs to check on him. He was supposed to be playing quietly in his room for nap time. He was in the bathroom, but sometimes he likes to lock the door behind him (which has caused problems before, but I can't really *not* have a locking bathroom door, can I?). I tested it, and it opened right up. I asked what he was doing, only to be met by the sight of him pulling out a fist-full of my brand new elastic hair bands from the toilet. The same toilet which he had so very obviously just used. ARGH.
