Cheryl has a really great idea of sending care packages to troops deployed in the Middle East. I was totally going to send her stuff, too. However, I figured it might make more sense (at least for me) to send the items directly to my cousin's wife. She's a bit younger than me, and has 2 little ones at home back east (I feel bad that she and so many others are missing out on their kid's lives). It would be kind of lame for me to skip her, and send stuff to total strangers. David told me that most of the time, soldiers on the front line don't receive the packages anyway.. people like my cousin's wife are more likely to, because they're not directly in the line of fire. I figure whatever she can't use, she can pass out to others. And the stuff will be just as appreciated.
