Well, my ring didn't get fixed.. cuz apparently JC Penney's jewelery repair doesn't repair rings. And the only jewelry store that had a jeweler present doesn't do "on spot" work. So unless I wanted to leave the ring and wait for him to fix it in about 3-4 days, I was SOL. Never freakin mind.

And we didn't go out to dinner. Which is kinda fine with me. D kept pushing the issue of what we should buy each other, and I was getting tired of it. Sometimes it's actually depressing to spend money. He kept asking me "If you had a $100 to spend on something you really wanted to buy, what would it be?" I don't know.. because there's nothing I really want right now that's of any importance. If I had $100, I'd try to be sensible with it and spend it on stuff for the baby. Of course he didn't like that answer.. well, that's how I feel. And as for the new bed idea, it's great but I'm not in a big rush to make a purchase like that- have you priced those things?? His whole thing is "Oh, you don't have to make payments or pay interest for 6 months! By that time, we'll have enough money saved to pay it off!" Um, yeah.. cuz we're real good about saving money. I don't trust us, and we don't need a new bed that bad.

We did go into Gap Kids and I actually bought something for the baby- the first bit of money I've spent on him/her so far. For $3.99, I got these really warm little pants that will come in handy this winter. Really thick and fuzzy, and the sale price couldn't be beat. I also found Lauren a shirt for a dollar more.

So, after that little non-exciting venture to the mall, we went to the Hobby Lobby (wow- this place is gigantic!). We spotted this cool wooden rack that I think is probably supposed to hold a golf ball collection, but we decided it would be better as a holder for all of my various shot glasses. But the more I thought about it, the more I began to think half of them wouldn't fit- my Hard Rock ones are tall, and then I have some real fat/wide ones.. I just dont' see them fitting in the pre-made slots. But D was insistant we get it, and that we pick out a wood stain. Well I don't friggin' know which color stain.. and when I told David I didn't care which color, he got irritated. (Look. I am NOT a decisive person when I'm pregnant. It's like the decision-making function in my brain has been disconnected. I can't think of what the hell to make for dinner most nights, which is why I don't end up making dinner. If I tell you I don't know and don't care, it's because I don't. Pick the color your damn self, and lets be done with it!) So I grabbed a stain, realized it probably wasn't what he wanted. He sighed, picked out one himself, and then I guess he went to go get a brush or something. I put my choice back, grabbed Lauren, and headed for the front of the store. Whatever..

Then we went to Meijer, because he wanted to get a lamp for the living room. However, I guess the one we both liked was at a different store, so instead of searching town for it, we just went home. And he's been downstairs playing on his computer ever since. Nice.
