Yesterday was mine & David's 5th wedding anniversary. We're kinda broke until next week when he gets paid, so we didn't buy cards or flowers or gifts for each other. However, today we're using his credit card to go out to lunch/dinner somewhere. Not sure where.. I practically salivate driving around this town looking at all the places we've never been to before. There's an Italian place that looks good- Spageddies. Damn expensive, though! I hear Don Pablos is good, too. Italian or Mexican, I can just never decide. There's always the Roadhouse Grill (which I haven't been to since we were in MS- you throw your peanut shells on the floor), and Ruby Tuesday (another favorite in MS) and The Texas Roadhouse (which D's parents raved about). Dammit! Can't I just go to all of them?? I hate deciding.

This morning David let me sleep in, and he made coffee and pop-overs. Unfortunately he says he burned them (I tasted one, and I dont' know what the hell he's talking about).. so we went to the Waffle House for breakfast. Quick, cheap, and there's a lot of noise so no one cared when Lauren got excited and starte banging on the table. LOL

We have plans to go get my wedding ring fixed today. I haven't worn it since before Christmas (well, I can only wear the band), because one of the prongs holding the center diamond is bent, and I'm worried I'll lose the stone. I love my wedding ring, so it would be nice to start wearing it again. David also wants to get us a joint anniversary gift. He's seriously considering a Select Comfort bed. Man, that would be nice. They're awesome!! Damn expensive, though. It's not good when people with expensive tastes don't have the check book to match it. LOL I'm trying to steer him in the direction of a DVD or something.
