We've opted for no tree this year. We've had an artificial one for the last 2 years, but we threw it out before we moved here.. no room on the truck, for one thing. Secondly, it was a huge pain the ass for David to put together. We haven't been impressed with any we've seen in stores, and people just want way too damn much for a 6' pre-lit tree. So forget that.. I didn't exactly look forward to chasing Lauren away from it every 5 minutes anyway.

I just downed a beer in like 15 minutes. That's probably one of my best times. LOL I needed it, lemme tell ya. The last couple of days have been my worst when it comes to parenting. I think I'd be a better mommy on a high dose of morphine. I'd probably feel better, too.
