Man, what a morning! Got up with the kids around 8 (it was a miracle that Matthew slept that long!), and realized first thing that we had NO diapers. I couldn't even change the kids- no diapers to put them in. So I did what any inventive mother would do. Put training pants on both kids (putting a pad inside to absorb any liquid should they have to pee), and then we all walked to the grocery store for diapers.

David's paycheck came days later than it should have, and about $400 short of what we thought it would be. And some fucker at his work keeps showing up right before David's supposed to get off, keeping him there past the time he could go deposit the check. So I had to write a check for diapers, hoping it doesn't clear before David can make it to the bank.

Strange things seen along the way:

-Graffiti on the sidewalk that says "if u aint' hood, u ain't good"
-A sign on a Chinese restaurant that says "Now hiring Spanish"
