You have to wonder if there's something about the parents themselves (aside from blindness) that would have brought CPS into this. There are plenty of sight-impaired parents out there. Heck. Plenty of impaired parents, in general. I know someone with 2 deaf parents, and he was fine. (I realize being blind might be a challenge when it comes to child rearing, but you'd think these people are "masters of their domain" and could keep their child from too much danger.
