ASL for Babies. (This looks like a cool site).

Alright.. since my kid has yet to say more than 5 words (few and far between at that), I'm going to try to teach him sign language. Not sure how receptive he'll be. I tried to teach/show him how to say "mommy" and "milk", and he thought it was the funniest thing ever. LOL Maybe if Lauren learns it to, he'll get the swing of it. I know he hears and understands much of what I say to him, but he doesn't/can't use words for things that are of the most importance to him. I think it might help for him to have a way to tell me what he wants even if he can't vocalize those needs yet.

As I'm sitting here typing this, he is trying to strangle me with my necklace. He also said "ni-ni" when I asked him if he was ready for night-night. LOL
