1.) A physical game w/out toys
I think I tickled him for all of about 2 seconds? We didn't really do that one.

2.) singing a song together
They have these really huge toy microphones that distort everything, so Matthew and I each took one, and we sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I sang it once, he sang it twice.

3.) A daily routine
I brought with us a package of Snoopy fruit snacks. They're all different colors and shaped like the different characters of the Peanuts gang, so we got to show Matthew eating, counting, saying his colors, and showing that he doesn't like to share his snacks with Mommy.

4.) Looking at a book together
I brought a "My first animals" book, and we also looked at "The Big Bug" book. Oh.. and a book they had there, about body parts.

5.) playing with a favorite toy together
To go along with the fruit snacks, and since he loves Snoopy so much, I brought these little stuffed Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Woodstock toys he has. We did a little pretend play for a few minutes.

It actually went fairly well, and his speech therapist thought it was neat to see how his interaction is with people (such as myself) that he is most comfortable with. She was quite impressed.
