I wonder if Lauren is trying to tell me which side of her brain she'll be using most when she gets older. For the last 3-4 months, Lauren has had an utter fascination with words. She likes pictures, but when I read her a book, she prefers to look at the words. I'm not sure she knows that I'm reading them, although sometimes I point to each word as I'm reading to her.. but her eyes go straight to them when I turn the page. When we first starting putting her in her swing, she kept looking up and to the right. We finally figured out she was checking out the label on the side. LOL She does that with boxes, too. So I wonder if she'll be predominantly right-brained or left-brained, and if this peculiar habit has any indication?
