My average gas bill in CA was about $6.00- that included everything on the bill, not just what I actually used (and we had a gas range). Here, they charge you $6.50 just for "administrative" fees!! And cripes- in 8 days, we've already spent about $6 in gas.. and the only thing in this apartment that uses gas is the damn water heater! WTF??? I'll be cringing when I get my first electric bill.

Oh.. and is it a "no-no" to leave outgoing mail in your mail box? My mail carrier doesn't bother picking up the stuff I need to mail. Grr.

Yes, I'm complaining a lot. So bite me.
