I finally heard from my sister, for the first time in practically a month... after having sent several e-mails asking what's been going on. She hasn't responded to any of the letters yet, except to give me my dad's number, since I didn't have it. Now that I do, I'm nervous about following through. I'm not sure what I would say. It would be a strange (awkward, anyway) conversation, I'd bet.
